Post Mounted EV Charger in Haverhill

A pedestal mounted EV charger fitted to a pre-existing concrete slab and duct. We installed a Hypervolt Home 3.0 charger for this customer, with a bumper barrier installed in front for added protection. The wiring was installed in such a way as to prevent the customer's existing home battery system from discharging to the EV charger, ensuring the battery stays at capacity to supply the home with electricity.
The installation
We used the existing concrete slab and duct for a neat pedestal installation, then added a bumper barrier for physical protection. The circuit arrangement was designed so the home's battery would not discharge into the vehicle.
Project outcome
The customer gained a protected home charging point while preserving stored battery energy for use in the house.
